We previously revealed a rumor that Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale would once again be reuniting to bring the Justice League to the big screen. The latest rumor is that half of that report is true. According to Comic Book Movie, Christopher Nolan will be taking on producer duties on Justice League as well as other DC Universe t
itles, but Christian Bale will not be donning the cowl once again to play Batman. Sources close to the project claim the plan is to recast the character and give the character a new story that won't hurt the storyline of The Dark Knight trilogy. The source also confirms that Zack Snyder will also be on as a producer and may also take on directing duties. As for Will Beall's reported scrapped script that featured the team taking on Darkseid? The script is apparently still planning to be used, but David Goyer, who was rumored to being brought on to write a new script, will now just be on for rewrites or story consulting. The source told Comic Book Movie, "If Bale is coming back and Goyer is penning, it's news to Warner Brothers." Of course, none of this has been confirmed and apparently we won't get an official confirmation from the studio or Nolan until after Man of Steel releases in June, but all signs are pointing to Nolan's involvement. Are you excited to see Nolan taking on Justice League and will you be disappointed if Bale doesn't return and a new Batman is cast? Give us your thoughts below or hit us up on Twitter @ClevverMovies. I'm Erin Darling, thanks for watching!
I don't want it to but I think the justice league movie will bomb, same thing about the man of steel movie but hopefully I'm wrong and they are both as good as they deserve to be :)
