Why oh why do people like "Kill Bill"?

The story is lame, the characters rather average and the fighting choreography atrocious? I mean, Uma Thurman swinging that sword is bad, bad, bad. They totally should have cast someone else or re-edit these fight scenes...

One of the first Tarantino films I watched if you can believe. Personally, I was impressed by the stylistic nature of many of the scenes.

Fantastic Film.

Very entertaining and the campiness works well, but I prefer Volume 2.

I've gotta say Uma Thurman's lack of acting skill is getting to me. Her delivery is just so wrong sometimes. It's not always her fault... sometimes the dialogue is wrong. Also, I think Tarantino's a fucking liar when he says he never saw The Bride Wore Black. Still, these films are relentlessly entertaining and stylistically delectable, with fun surprises all over the place.
