This film inspires a deep revulsion for humanity, for cold realities I know we can ignore, for the means we already make of so many others. I credit the film's surreal atmosphere, its characters whose acceptance is more painful than the trials they face. There are cracks in its facade, a false ring to its acceptance and inhumanity that diminishes this effect and invites the welcome shelter of cynicism, but even believing a little I was moved, both emotionally and in thought.
