Storyline
A modern remake of Jane Austen's Emma; Cher, a high school student in Beverly Hills, must survive the ups and downs of adolescent life. Her external demeanor at first seems superficial, but rather it hides her wit, charm, and intelligence which help her to deal with relationships, friends, family, school, and the all-important teenage social life. |
Actually one of the more enjoyable adaptations of Jane Austen. Heck, I liked it a lot better than the "straight" version of the same novel with Gwyneth Paltrow that came out a few years later, and I am not known for having great affinity for teenager movies
