Edward Zwick Edward M. Zwick (born October 8, 1952) is an American filmmaker and film producer noted for his sprawling war films. Maybe my expectations were just too low. Stain A lot like _Dances with Wolves_, but a much better film all around Spunkie I got bored from hollywood use of history and cultures as exotic texture, this cannonball of a movie is no exception. Mastery of cinematography wears out after the first 15 minutes as the movie reveals its intentions.
