Metropia is a wonderfully bleak vision of a Europe unified by an underground Metro system. A stench of paranoia echoes Orwellian sensibilities in this animated treat by Swedish born director Tarik Saleh. A distinctive and unique animation style lend itself to the claustrophobia of a dystopian future world dominated by surveillance and mind control.
