A film that has nothing really wrong with it... but nothing really right either...

And could we please please please stop with the "300" type of cinetics for mass battles? It's a bit annoying in something like "Spartacus" but one-on-one gladiatorial fights allow for some flashy jumps and dodges.

In a mass battle? Not a bloody chance...

Not bad this film, but unfortunately for it not great either, a lively final 10 mins cannot save the dismal pace of the rest of the film. Shame really
